The Journey to Jurin Express - Japanese Restaurant

Yesterday, Wednesday, March 18 2009, my uncle arrived in Penang and I did visit him after my tiring day...As for information, I went there by bus, so hot and sleepy...How I wish I could have my own car..hihihihi..(day dreaminggggg....zzzz)

My uncle comes from Indonesia to do regular medical check up here. He is with some of his friends and all are about going to hospital to do the same...He brought my favorite cake, also a famous cake from Medan, "layer cake = kue spekuk" and I have spreaded them out to my buddies, how did it taste guys??? =)

While my uncle was waiting for me in the lobby, he was talking with strangers who just arrived from Singapore and were waiting for their room (hey, my uncle is only too friendly everyone, he could start conversation with anyone, really...too cheecky for sometimes, especially when he is in the restaurant => )...

Guess, who are they? The two strangers were Vietnamnese who used to be immigrant who had been staying in Indonesia for 8 months and later on, brought to France and stay there now...They told us about their Vietnam restaurant, their children who grown up to be a doctor, how living is there...and so on so on...about their Euro (how valuable it is compared to America Dollar), the standard living in France, how youngsters' life there and how good education is there...Dreaming that what if I could be there? hahahahahahahaha...

Then, after a while, they got their room soon after my uncle managed to talk and ask from the receptionist...My uncle went up to bathed and I was still the lobby, sitting sleepily with the others two 'uncles' and yup..here my uncle and his other friend came...and of course, question came first was where to go for dinner and how to go...

My uncle first answered, "Well, Jurin Express in Gurney Plaza's new wing!"..

huhuhuhu..Japanese food...I was not in love with Japanese food, but I am still able to take them...a bit, not too much...I was quite worry how about others three, but luckily...ON!!!

We went there by taxi...it was so expensive, from Berjaya Hotel to Gurney, it took RM10 for one way, wow....expensive, but they didn't mind, what I minded for then...hahahaha...

While got to Gurney,

here we went to Jurin Express!!!

Jurin Express is a another new Japanese restaurant opened in Gurney Plaza's new wing...It is located in second floor and just next to Sushi King (wonder, how it could be next to one another), hihihihi...While I walked in, well...Nice place... and I just pointed to the sofa seat in the corner where you could have a scene to the places besides G Hotel, I don't know what it is called, hahaha...where you could have Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Winter Warmer and others stylish place? hahaha...

Jurin Express is a bit different with Sushi King, as I know...We can't take or pointed what we would like to eat through the sushi rail...(I don't know what it is called as well)...We had to order through the menu book...While it opened, I didnt see any brief explanation below the foods, just the picture, how could what we know what some of those weird and 'nice decorated' foods?

Then, we just, i meant me and my uncle, well..garlic fried rice (hey, it is tasty man!), fried fishes with egg inside (sorry again, i'm stupid abouth the name) and salmon with kind of sweet sauce and others ordered by his friends...and yup, I was so full and okay...I love salmon...slurpppppppppppp...

Meeting to working on Sat. & Sunday in PISA...

It has been 2 days I was off from internet and I am just being able to update while I am back to work...Yeah, that's what the positive and negative side, the saddest part and the most fun part...

Started from Saturday,
I had canai and "Roti Bakar" with my colleague near somewhere in Penang Road (don't think so it is in Penang Rd.) before I started my Toastmaster Club meeting at 10pm, as well before opening a booth in PTPL's Open Day...and both my meeting and working took place in the same place, that's what the best thing where I didn't to go somewhere else, but the most even best is we went back before the time we set at 4 o'clock, hahaha...

A bit about my club meeting, I was the table topic master and I was glad and happy that everyone seemed fun during my session. because I made it different, I was not giving away topic for them to talk, but they chose it for themselves...All words given were titles of movies which have been showed, now showing and coming to show...What they had to do was strting the 2 minutes speech with the given word, some were stucked. It totally gave you no idea what to talk about, but all tried and it was great...

For next meeting, I am going to do my CC #6 (Vocal Variety) and be the General Evaluator...Good luck Leny!!!

Back to the time after meeting, I joined my team in the booth, but hard to say that no sales because the number of the visitors were not like what us imagined and tried to picture...So that was why, we decided to go back, but my day haven't ended yet...

I went to PISA to have my part time work in iFoodex in PISA (Penang International Sport Arena), doing sampling for Abbott Lab (M) Sdn. Bhd.,(thank you Mr. Eric, Abbott and teams)..It was great experience, I was blending Pediasure and Ensure fro children and adults to try...Testing the very sweet milk for many times, ishhhhhhhhhhh....Disgusting, it was too sweet, then we blended it again to make it tasted nice and it was kinda of being expert after sometimes...hahaha...

I worked there for two days and lots of things happened...A lots of kinds of people were there, with a huge varieties of characteristics, nations and ethnics...Good and bad times were there, as well as for the funny times, tiring moments...All were there...Too much things were questioning me with the 5W+1H, I was wondering on them...How could it be n this and that, like this and like that? Well, I can't mention it one by one, as I am having my headache now, really not feeling well and it makes me can't think and write well...

We were in teams of ten maybe, 3 who were doing the free counselling, me and some aunties doing sampling and it was untill 10 o'clock when I reached home...what a tiring Satur-day!!!

But, for Sunday...I was getting to joy of it...I enjoyed the moments, blending the milks, giving thousands of samples away for children to taste how nice the milk is...Yes, nice when it was not too sweet for sure...

I was having time to go around as well, so man things were there...I bought quite lots of things, Eco Brown rice (2 packs), candy, and 3 packs of cooking herbs, hihihi...

We finished lately at nite on Sunday compared to Saturday, because we have to clean and pack all the things...and you knew what, we went for supper...We had tasty, special and cheap Char Keow Teow and satai near PISA , wuihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...so nice!!!

And it was 11.30 when I reached home and so tiring and even tiring when I was thinking, "I have to work tomorrow morning again! huh..."

anyway, personally...I enjoyed these two days, I have done my best to this sampling job!=)

you might be asking..."why do I always posting my day one day after?"...

well...it's simple and straight forward, I don't have internet connection at home, if yes...I might be just lucky to be able to 'steal' my college's wireless which is located exactly in front of the place I stay...Sometimes, thinking that it's okay not to have internet connection at home, but sometimes, huh...it's be better to have it at home....hahaha...

yesterday,

just the same, I was in Rapid Penang's office, doing some phone callings to get quotation on the advertisement slots...and until the time I am writing, I haven't got it yet...huhhh...please you come and come, let me finish it...!!!

then,
I was busy as well for today's March Babies Celebration...preparing the cards, make sure that everyone has their writting on it, connfirmed the F & B with Kak Min which was over budget while I knew it and damn...the manager said, " I thought you order the same F & B with Kak Adline...!"...Well, she said to me to find Kak Min...

anyway, I am in diet tightly from yesterday on, hahaha..wish me losing some weights!!! hohohoho...

and the CCD power session was on yesterday and it took more than 2 hours to discuss on upcoming events and current projects and I realize my time here ends soon by March 21st 2009...I can't say this is too tiring or boring, because some are fun, and take me into challenges...a bit hard and sad to leave, and happy at the same time, hihihihi...slightly come to my mind to extend it till the end of March but if only I'm going to S'pore, hahha...

I went back at 6.30pm because I was waiting for my friend, find my home such a "hmm..." place and I couldn't online as well because my wireless was OFF and I didn't know how to get it ON...
I just spent my night with "our songs"...Nice songs of us!!! Thank you dear, by it, you make me miss our time so...When will we go for singing and recordning again???

I have been waiting for you for two weeks and now, I would be with you three days. I was so happy Not...Great to see you after having a fully tension months...wuihhhhhhhhhhhhh....(Started from end of February till now, but please no onwards)...

I spent my three days with you and your beloved family and by the time I am writing, you are in plane, waiting it to take off and back to Medan. When will you come back again?...

For sure, I couldn't write one by one what we have done within this three days...We had breakfast, lunch and dinner together...I just felt like home with my family. Thank you Not, Auntie and Uncle...!!! We took picture wherever we were like grazy before sleeping, no matter we were till we got scolded in MNG, hahaha...We were hand in hand, so close and romantic...I guesses the guys in hair saloon (Queensbay Mall) were thinking that we were abnormal, hahaha...We shopped, chose what fit your Mum...We ate all day long...I'm sure I will get fatter if you prolong your stay here, hahahaha..but, i hope it so much...
We had movie, and somekind of 'dating', hihihi..

By the time I post this, you will be in Medan...When will you be back again??? No matter how miles we are apart, you still the best part and the best gift of my life..I gonna miss you so much and it ain't easy for me to get someone like you...

Not,
now, tomorrow and forever we both will be in the ship of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.H.I.P...forever till the end of time...With lots of loves, hugs, and kisses only for you, I miss you ^.^

well,

i can't get online for 4 days, that's why I just get them update by today...=)

6th of March...

I went for breakfast with Eric, Amos, Melvin, See Yian, Mr. Loo and Cheok Daniel after a very long time...It was great morning where I didn't need to wake up so early as usual, but still I woke up early...Having my bath and went to college to pay the insurance fee for international student and you know what, I was so sad and hard for me to get the money out my pocket, because it was my saving for holiday and now, it was out of plan now...

After breakfast, I went to Penang International Airport to accompany my friend to pick his girl friend who just came back from Australia. He was so romance, hahaha...On the way to the airport, he stopped in the florist and asked me to buy some flowers for his girl..well..It was so sweet of you man...She sure will like and love you more, hehehehe...

They were daisy flowers and she gave me free of lavenders, thank you..hihihi..i love it!!! but, my buddy said they were too pastel in color, weren't they??? however, i like them...there was a sweet scene behind this...hehehe...guys, u both...i pray for you both =)

and something came to my mine at the same time, "How about if I stay there and wait for my buddy as well?" and it done...Hope it made you happy dear...^.^

and finally you and your Mum were here...I can't wait the next day to be with you...

hey guys, today...still the same, not much to do...whole day in Rapid Penang, blogging, joining forum and reading online newspaper...and that's it...

thank you for my laptop, gardenia bread, ricolla, hahahaha...being together with me...and you know what, my besties are here tomorrow and i can't wait to see her and date her for sure...I want to sideline all things I could sideline...I'M YOURS DEAR!!!

My 4th on March 2009

yesterday, yesterday...

ehmm...not much...still the same, I have spent whole day by working in Rapid Penang...

I finally finished my project on Rapid Penang's Courtesy Campaign, YES!!!

and waiting for some quotations again, wishing that each of my duty will be done before I'm going off from my training...

Hey, yesterday, once I came back from the office...

I cooked...

I bathed and washed my clothes that had been sideline for 4days...hohoho..

then,
I spent my night with TELL Magazine and my "ong lai pia and almond crackers" and it will gone soon...It was the first time I read TELL, I just grabbed it from my friend...Kok Kee, Thank you!!! I'm not going to write what it is about NOW...maybe next time for sure...

And listened to some music before I slept at 9.30 pm...(It was too early to say good nite, wasn't it?) =)

Yesterday...

yuppp..nothing much to share about my working...All just the same as usual, but so happy that some assignments has finished, hihihi..but, another new tasks are in hands now...

hey, yesterday, me and my team went to SMK Permatang Tok Jaya, Sekolah Model Khas in Penang...well...nice school with all its facilities and newly facilities in development...The school also provide an education for "anak-anak terencat akal"...Let's the pic...!

They are just so sweet children and I realize, "Thank God for what and who I am now! I'm just so lucky! Too lucky!"



I went back to office at two and slept again on the way back, hahaha..I'm Leny Lena!!!
and once, I got back, well...another assignment was done, HUrraayyyY!!! and I was enjoying my sleepy moment in front of my dear laptop while I was also waiting for the time o go back...

Guess what I did once get back to home???

I bathed, had yogurt and sleep again for tonight...hihihi..Below is a part of my room..It's messy!!!



and I still had time to take picture of my messy room while I was waiting for my friends to pick me up to have dinner with The Man of The Day and I wa having those biscuits from mr. Eric (Thankz lot! I love ong lai pia so much, SO TASTY, and the almons crackers as well), hehehehe...


Again, after great, tasty and delicious in somewhere next to New World Park, we went to Old Town to have drinks with others who just joint us after their church meeting...and we had a Rum Tiramisu from Jenni's Homemade Cake Shop for "Mr. Eric: The B'day Man!"...

and I was homed at 11.30pm, huhhhhhhh..Sad!!! TOO LATE!!!

It is an okay day!!!

hahahahaha...hohohohoho...

I was working from 8am to 5pm...Not much new tasks to do, besides follow up the qoutation I asked for and it is the most boring part, I hate to make a phone calls, hikzzz...

I was busy with blogging as well...^.^

Well...at night, actually I had plan for Eric's birthday celebration, but it was cancelled due to some reasons....and I was ended up by picking up Amos in the airport and had a tasty dinner with three men, "bihun pake ikan dan daging, wuihhhhhhhhhhh..delicious!!!

Well...Time passed so fast, and it's March now...

1 more month to go for my training and my new term will start in April and then, by the end this year, I will finish my Higher Diploma and it's gonna be another step to get into the real world, the real life...!!!

Yesterday started with my visitation to Star Education Fair in Pisa with Kak Adline and family...Thank you kak....and guess what, another Starbucks voucher..Thank you Apittt..ahahahaha...Should give me continuously, huhahahahahahaha...

And again, Nasi Campur melayu for my lunch...It was okay, but so expensive...but, I was not paying for that, Kak Adline's Mum, hahahaha...Thank you ^.^

Actually, yesterday was planned not going to church because of The Star Education Fair, but I was back early, my mind change and yuppp...I was going after I was dissapear for some couple weeks...

Oopss..Regarding the Edu.Fair...Well...I' so interested by some programmes offer by some universities...one of them is Double Major in Communication and Psychology in Singapore (it's cool man!!!) and hoping to be in what I am interested in, hahahaha...

then,

I was in chucrh from 4pm to 6pm and I kept getting same question: "Hey Leny! Long time no see, How's life? Busy with your work?",

Guys...Thank you so much for asking...I will try not to skip, but somehow, plan to go for the English session in the morning...

Then, me and Mr. Eric were going for gardening for a while...(Let's see how they have grown up so quickly...)

and then,

we went to Sunflower, homemade cake shop for some crackers, layers cakes and wow...the cakes were look nice...can't stop to see it, but I was not buying it, because...hahaha...

still,

we went for dinner and I had Char Hor Fun...They said not very nice, but it tasted good for me, hahaha...

the day was ended up by movie in Gurney, "Love Matters" by Jack Neo...I'm not sure, but it was good movie (comedy and romance)..hehehe...Yesterday was just soo tired and sleepy but nice day as well...

Today was a nice day....

My day started with Roti Canai Telur in Ali with my Toastmaster friends and IPG I TM club meeting...Long time no see and join you all guys, I felt so exciting today and yupp....hopefully, it lasts...hahaha...because sometimes, days are too tiring and lazy to be there, and working as well, makes me lazy...

Next next weeks are going to be a busy week with lots of activities in TM and Rapid Penang....But, my dear Notttt, I can't wait to see and date you...

then, finally today, I made it...I was able to attend the Bible Class after my schedules todays were well adjusted...Thank God!!!

and today was ended up by one self adventuruos trip..Starting from G Hotel in Australia Education Fair, Starbucks Green Tea with Topping and beach sight seeing while I was waiting for bus for more than 30 minutes under the cloudy sky, huhuhuhu..(Rapid ICIS, You gave me wrong info...) and the worst part is I had to walked rushly from Gurney to One Stop to get the bus, and luckily, I didn't miss it...HuHHHHH...Capeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkk!!!

and it takes 3o mins to get home...=(

Tau tau, pulang mesti bersih-bersih rumah and nyuci...Disela-sela itu, air mataku ngalir Ma....Aku nangis!!!hikzzz....hikzzzz...hikzzzzz...hikzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...Weekend tak seperti dulu and I just miss it so much...Pleaseeee...stay a little while...!!!

Nice Day???

I don't know, today was nice or not, but it is a bit not as nice as yesterday, hehe...Me and my team were in SMK Raja Tun Uda to sell the student pass vouchers, but the number was worse than yesterday...However, I met students, some are cute, naughty and I just miss my school's times, friends and teachers so much...

Not much for today, except thinking what to eat for lunch and we were in Sun Shine..I don't know what restaurant we were in today, haha..and others is hoping the time will pass soon and we could go back, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Planning for some movie after work actually, but...so sad...I'm too tiring and lazy...and I slept again on the way back to office, haha...I'm truly Leny Lena, as what they named me...

Hey, I got starbucks voucher, huahahahaha...and can't wait for tomorrow to redeem it...hehehe...Wuhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...!!!

then, today, one of our 'friends' was resign from the job and we did prepared cards and pictures of us for her but unfortunately, she went back too soon before we gave it to her...Huhh...
so sorry....
then I did cut 200 hundreds flyers of social route in only an hour, was it great? wakakakakakaka...I could do it, because I'm too sleepy...Working in office was not nice and fun as working in the field...
follow up and phone calling are the routinity, what a boring day!!!

When it comes to Friday, ehm...I get confusing on something, but Thank God and my buddy...I'm in control on it...but still, I'm confused and doubt, hahahaha...

But, the greatest part is I am now keeping the biggest secret ever, hahahahaha..Thank you dear for sharing it with me...You know what, I can't wait to be there, to be in the same room like you like before we used to and tell each other of our day...Haikxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx....Huhhhuhuhuhuhuhhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu...

Well, tomorrow would be busy day...a lots of plans on that day, how are they? no one knows...just wait and see...For sure, It gonna be adventuruos day...hohohohohohoho (hope so...)

Today is always better than yesterday!

YEAH...

It's totally true that today is always better than yesterday, but may it goes to be bad, boring or sort of day like that after? hahaha..no one knows...

Well, me and my team from Rapid Penang had been doing promotion in USM (University Sains Malaysia)...we opened a booth in Smart Fuel Campaign 2009 which was organised by the final year Public Relation students and we were about to sell a student pass voucher (RM25/Month, Buy 3 months, Get 1 month Free, anyone interested?) and we got a good number of it...

I had been eating from the day start with sandwiches, sweet corns, "nasi kandar" for lunch, snacks and some buffet before we went back, hahaha...Tiring, and fun...I met a lot of people and some friends and some good looking guys, hahahaha..One in a green T-Shirt with his cameras stuff, something like that and he just looks like the guy who thought me somehow perfect,hahahaha...Fendy..it's you, haiyorrr..dark skin, and somehow he's frezzing, hahahahaha...

Somehow, I thought how great is my study life if I study there, how would my life be if the USM admin did not ask me to take some English course, huhhhh...a big big unversity with a lot of kinds of people around..yeah in fact, I'm going to finish my higher diploma soon then...so, it doesn't matter much now...but, do matters lots for my decision where to go after...hahaha...

After work, we did go to Queensbay Mall to see some bags...and I'm just wanna have a new of it...huhuhuhuhu...but, I ended up buying yoghurt and cheese...and slept on the way back, too tiring...

Not much to do...wishing tomorrow would be even better...and can't wait for my weekend to get my self and time back, but somehow....I hate when it comes to weekend...well, just wishing you and me have a wonderful weekend....

I'm getting fed up slowly!

Huhhhh...what a tiring day to have! Huhhh...It was not a boring day...but, it was really tiring me most mentally...
and I just came back from the internal badminton match...!!!

A day with a lot of works, they were still okay...Filed up all the data form alphabetically, followed up some companies to get quotation on some stuffs, and still I have to wait as the manager wants me keep her updated, made a phone calls, did a promotion, made flyers for the social route...yeah..okay...But, I don't know exactly why I'm getting fed up...Are those caused by people around me, the surroundings or myself???

I wanna pay a lot of debt after my training...I just don't have time to do my own stuffs...

I have been working for almost 2 months, my first excitement is going wrong slowly now...I'm really getting fed up...One more month to go....LENY, GO, GO GO...!!! Yes, I can and I have to as they believe and give me some tasks in my hand...I just can't totally stand firm and still as I'm getting fed up mentally and physically...

Well, tomorrow is another day with new tasks in hand...Another new day, hope it will be better and more exciting than today...Because I don't want to have this kind of fedding up....It is painfull!!! and tiring me as well amongst others things...
